After a weekend of tearing out our kitchen and rearranging the electrical infrastructure for the room, this is what it looks like. You can barely see the concrete footprint next to the ladder where the old cabinets used to be. The picture doesn't really do the added square footage any justice. Beyond pushing out the wall into the backyard, we took out the low ceiling. The changes make quite a difference. The cabinets and appliances are scheduled to arrive in the next coming weeks.
